Curious te know what it's like to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics in Utrecht? Then come and join us for a day before you apply. When applying for admission, you'll also take part in a selection procedure.

Student for a day

During a student for a day, you'll spend a day with a current student and follow one or more lectures. You will also have the opportunity to talk te students and lecturers. You will also be introduced to Study Association Metis. You're welcome to join if you're in your final years of high school, transferring from another programme, or as an HBO student, and if you've already attended an Open Day.

Selection

Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Utrecht University is a small-scale, intensive programme intended for ambitious students. To be eligible for admission, you must pass the selection procedure. You'll have to meet the diploma requirements and the language skills, send us a transcript of your grades, write your motivation and complete a competency profile test. Furthermore we may ask your referee for a letter of recommendation or invite you for an interview. During the selection we will ensure that you are a good fit for the programme and we assess you ability te succesfully complete it, which is in both our and your interest.
